Make money online with my website business - just take it!

What will you be doing

Making portfolio websites over a zoom call. Pretty straight forward. Any sort of creator, artist, studio, whatever need a website. They can either hire a very expensive studio, which most can’t afford or they can try some service like WIX, but that takes time, effort and it’s actually quite pricey too.

What I did, is that I created a service – www.mikimalio.com, where I create WP portfolio websites over a zoom call, the clients tell me what they want, I do it right in front of them and usually it’s done in max. 3 hours. They don’t have to learn anything, in the end, it’s cheaper than WIX, because they only pay hosting after that (€3-5/month), WP is for free and everybody is happy.

I am not doing any marketing for Mikimalio, since it’s such a nice deal, word of mouth is giving me all my customers. Depending on where you are, I am in the Czech Republic, I sell it for €200, that’s 3 hour call, every hour after that is paid extra. Most of the clients told me that they would be happy to pay double, it’s still a fraction of what they would pay some webdesign studio.

What will you get from me

I will give you the source codes for Mikimalio website, so that you can copy it on your domain, and all you will have to do is to replace my name and my pictures with yours. I will also be available for you, so anytime there’s something wrong or clients want something that you don’t know how to do, you can just say: “Sorry, I will look into this after our call” and then get back to them.

Just for clarity again, I do NOT want to give you my Mikimalio business! I want you to get your own domain, create your own name and be independent. There will be NO contract between us, I will not guarantee you any customers or payments, all will be up to you. All I offer, is the design and copywriting of Mikimalio, so that you don’t have to spend time and money on creating your website.

In the end, you can start doing this without ever telling me, the only difference here is, that I am offering help with starting out, support throughout and the design of my website.

Why am I doing this

The websites are made with a freemium WP theme, that I created – www.minimalio.org. So for each website you would create, you would have to purchase a license for my premium plugin. Right now, it’s $20 and it’s certainly not going to get much more expensive than that. That would be your only cost.

As I said, I will make money while you make money. I don’t actually want to deal with clients, I want to take care of my theme and act as a support. It’s been thousands of hours and thousands of euros, to put my theme and all the designs together. So, that’s why I am doing this, to earn a small percentage on each website you make.

Possibility of passive income for you

Apart from making money by the service itself, you can also offer hosting. So for Mikimalio, I bought a hosting service (roughly €300/year), from which I can host about 50 websites. I charge the same money as the client would pay, if they would just order normal hosting for a single website. So, that’s a possibility of 50 x €4 a month, which is €2400 a year. Pretty good deal I think. If you make a thousand, you can retire.

How much will you have to learn

Setting up a WordPress website takes 5 minutes. Learn how to use WordPress might take a couple of hours. Using my theme takes maybe an hour, there are tutorials on the website – www.minimalio.org/tutorials . Now this would be enough if you would do it for yourself. As a professional service, you have to know more, but you can learn everything on the go. I would definitely recommend some course like Scrimba, for basics of HTML, CSS and maybe little bit of Javascript. WordPress is supporting up to 30% of the internet, there is no other system with more tutorials and materials available than that. The AI’s could also be very helpful. Also, you can just give a try, there’s no cost and the knowledge of basic web coding will always be useful.
