Free or Premium
Art Portfolio is completely free and all of its functions work in the free version. But the demo uses portfolios for its homepage and if you would like to achieve the effect of changing image on hover, or have your portfolios separated from your blog posts, please check out the Premium Plugin, that brings many very useful functions for achieving a professional portfolio page.

What does Art Portfolio bring
Art Portfolio is all about the vertical header. It’s specifically designed for making your website look like the demo, with utilizing the blank space and margins in your header.
Top Margin/Space of the Main Menu
I believe, it looks extremely elegant, that the menu has space above itself, underneath the logo. With Art Portfolio, you can easily set up this space and make it fit your needs exactly.
Portfolio/Blog Category Filtering Font Size
It’s also really nice, to have control over the font size of the portfolio and blog category filtering. With Art Portfolio, you can make it smaller or bigger, to achieve the elegant look of the demo.

And to be able to align it perfectly with your logo, you also have control over the space above the Category Filtering.
